THAPOVAN PUBLIC SCHOOL, is a co-educational, Senior Secondary School affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education New Delhi. The school is managed by The Thapovan Educational & Charitable Trust, Manakala P.O. Adoor initiated by the Late H.H. Moran Mar Baselios Mar Thoma Mathews II, The Late H.G, Mathews Mar Epiphanios and H.G Thomas Mar Athanasios. The present Manager of the school is H. G. Dr. Mathews Mar Thimothios. The school is situated in the sylvan surroundings of Manakala between Adoor and Kadampanad. It has been envisaged and planned as a unique institution to provide quality education in the best tradition of Indian culture. The principal aim of Thapovan Educational & Charitable Trust is to impart sound education to the boys and girls of all communities irrespective of caste. colour or creed and to prepare them to live and act as useful citizens of free and secular India. The school hopes to inculcate in th students a sense of pride and respect for the cultural richness and tradition of the Indian people.
